Furore in the summer months is one of the most organised villages on the Amalfi Coastline and there are many festivals and cultural events held here. Furore is divided by the world famous Fiord where, on one side, you will find the Museum Beyond the Sea, and the quaint little fishermen’s houses all newly renovated and painted in traditional pastel colours so prominent in this region. On the other side you will see terrace upon terrace of vineyards which produce its
most celebrated wine “Gran Furore” that is exported to many countries around the world. Furore is also home to The Hotel Inn Resort: a five star establishment that has a reputation as being one of the most well known and better equipped resorts on the Amalfi Coastline. It has three heated swimming pools, tennis courts,
5 a side soccer court, a beauty centre, gym and fitness centre all of which is open to the public and is about 1 km from the apartment Le Porpore. Furore is known as the “painted village” thanks to its many wonderful murals seen throughout the area, some famous, like the one painted by the famous painter Ortolani which completely covers one side of a house.
Le Porpore is located 500 meters from a SITA company bus stop. The town centre of Furore is located just 1 km from the apartment where you will find everything you need: a pharmacy, clothes stores, food stores, fruit & vegetable stores and a bar/café. Le Porpore is accessed by only 15 steps. It is composed by a large living-room that can be used as a dining area in addition to the separate dining room.
The kitchen is well-equipped and has abundant cookware and a full set of beautiful local ceramic dishes. There is a working fireplace and an adjacent cozy sitting area. The flowered terrace, with its overhanging pergola, is reached from a door off the kitchen. On the terrace is a ceramic table and chairs for dining al fresco. The dining room connects the view-facing side of the flat to the kitchen-terrace side. House “Le Porpore” has 3 bedrooms, two of them and the living room have direct access to the front balcony and panoramic view. The third bedroom is in the interior of the flat and has a picture window and ensuite full bath.
One bedroom also has a single bed and sleeps three. The house accomodate maximum 7 people.
