“La Picola" is a charming apartment located at the first floor of a building of 3 apartments dated back to 1960’s and recently renovated with good taste and care in 2002. It is now an enchanting vacation house with a pretty and quite neighbourhoods. It is located in the village of Furore, 30 minutes walk from the famous Hotel Inn Resort, a five star establishment that has a reputation as being one of the most well known and better equipped resorts on the Amalfi Coastline. This Hotel has three heated swimming pools, tennis courts, 5 a side soccer court, a beauty centre, gym and fitness centre all of which is open to the outside public and is about 30 minutes walk from the apartment La Picola; of course you have to pay for the access to the hotel facilities. La Picola has a spectacular balcony with a oceanic view on the coast, on the hamlet of Praiano, covered by growth of lemon trees and olive trees and on the Ile of Li Galli. It can host maximum five people. Furore is one of the most authentic spot of the Amalfi Coast. You’ll be surprised to see still farmers that grow unspoilt vegetables, donkeys walking into the typical stone steps, no pollutions of cars etc. The Furore area goes from the sea, where the famous fjord of Furore is, up to more than 500 meters (545 yards) above the sea level. This is an area of extraordinary beauty, famous for the dizzy seascapes and the modern artwork that decorate the streets and the walls of the houses. When the evening comes closer, you will discover the golden light of the sunset, that makes all the colours vivid, before they fade into the cobalt blue of the night. The spectacular night show of the lights of the coast and of the boats at sea will be the romantic background of your dinners under the stars. La Picola is located at 9 kms from the centre of Amalfi. Nearest public transportation stop is situated 1.5 km far from the apartment, that means a car can be useful. The town centre of Furore is located at 1,5 kms from the apartment where you will find everything you need: a pharmacy, clothes stores, food stores, fruit & vegetable stores and a bar/café. Near the house you find a parking area, and you will reach the apartement with 15 steps from the car parking. Very important is to come in this apartment with a car, because the public transportation are not so close. Parking is easy on the road. La Picola is approximately 80 sq.m. with a large balcony with direct access from the 2 bedrooms, equipped with a little table with chairs and 2 sun beds. The apartment is composed by a living-room with a sofabed, 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms. From the house you will be able to easily reach all the tourist spot of the Coast of Amalfi and Sorrento, as well as Capri and Pompeii, Naples, Paestum, Caserta and its Royal Palace. You will be able to board ferries and hydrofoils in Amalfi. Staying at La Picola you will be able to enjoy a vacation in a natural environment of a splendid beauty, relaxing and exclusive. You will be able to attend the famous beaches of the Amalfi Coast, shop for fashion and handmade goods, such as the vintage wines of Ravello, limoncello and ceramics. You will also be able to enjoy the local cultural, artistic, and musical happenings which are held in the area throughout the year.
