  Saint Andrea
Sant' Andrea On the 27th of June and 30th November Saint Andreas is celebrated in Amalfi. His relics are kept in the local cathedral. The townsmen carry a huge bust of the saint at the front of a procession, in which the whole town participates on his holy day. At the end of the eveninig there are spectacular fireworks.
  Easter week, Easter Sunday and Monday
Many Italians take off during that period and the coast is far more congested and crowded than you can expect. Driving around is not usuallly easy but is worse during those days. We suggest not to rent a car durign those days. Religious events are held in all the villages of the Amalfi Coast and typical dishes and cakes can be found in the nicest restaurants.
  Good Friday processions
In Amalfi and Ravello are held events during the Holy week. Ravello procession is very realistic and is held the Sunday before Easter, whilst is held on Good Friday in Amalfi.
